Service Terms

These terms describe the The Host Barn service. Contact us at info@thehostbarn.com. Customer signup is currently closed; the published plan information describes the service offered when signup opens.

Starter Website plan

The Starter Website plan includes one website and 100 MB of storage. Monthly billing is $7.99 per month. Annual billing is $79 upfront for 12 months. The selected subscription renews automatically at the same interval until cancelled. There is no setup fee or trial.

Account and billing

Your website dashboard’s Account section provides membership status, invoices, storage use, and billing information. PayPal processes subscription payments. Keep your account and contact information current and protect your sign-in credentials.

Cancellation

You may cancel renewal using Cancel Membership in your Account section. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and preserves access through the end of your paid period. Cancelling renewal does not itself request a refund or erase your account and website records.

Refunds

We provide a full refund of your first monthly or annual subscription charge when you request it within 14 days of that charge. Email info@thehostbarn.com with your account email and order reference to request a refund. Later renewal charges are not routinely refunded. Duplicate or erroneous charges are reviewed separately. After the initial refund window, unused annual months are not routinely prorated; cancellation stops future renewal.

Support

Email support at info@thehostbarn.com is available Monday–Friday, with no guaranteed response time. Support covers login, billing, template operation, hosting issues, and basic domain connection guidance. Custom design, copywriting, third-party plugins, advertising, and SEO services are outside the Starter plan.

Your website and domain

Personalize the template with accurate business details and content you have permission to use. Review your published contact information, service descriptions, images, and any claims about your business. You are responsible for your website’s content and its visitor privacy notice. Domain registration and services purchased from other providers are separate from the Starter Website subscription and subject to those providers’ terms. You must control a custom domain you connect and arrange the required domain settings.

Expiry, content, and backups

Website access may be restricted after the paid period ends or when payment remains unpaid. We do not promise a fixed grace period, content-retention period, deletion schedule, or guaranteed recovery. Contact support before expiry if you need help with an export or account closure. Keep copies of important content and media; a WordPress content export is not a complete hosting backup.
